Recurrent fire setting:
Setting fires is a deliberate and repetitive behavior, not a one-time event. These acts are not driven by any external motivators like monetary gain, revenge, or political statements.
Tension or arousal before fire setting:
Individuals experience a build-up of tension or a sense of excitement prior to starting a fire.
Pleasure and relief after fire setting:
