Conduct Disorder (CD)

A mental health condition characterized by a persistent pattern of antisocial, aggressive, and deceitful behavior in children and adolescents. Individuals with CD struggle to follow rules, respect the rights of others, and behave in socially acceptable ways. The condition can manifest in various ways, including physical aggression, destruction of property, deceitfulness, and serious violations of rules.

Aggression: Includes physical fights, bullying, cruelty to people and animals, and even using weapons.

Destruction of Property: May involve vandalism, arson, or other forms of deliberate damage.

Deceitfulness and Theft: Includes lying, stealing, and engaging in con games or breaking into places.

Serious Rule Violations: May involve running away from home, skipping school, or breaking curfew.

Lack of Remorse or Guilt: A hallmark of CD is a tendency to show little or no remorse for the consequences of their actions.
